ON POINTE {DANCE}

“Dancing is an art.
The floor is my canvas.
And I am the brush.
And whatever I create
comes from the heart.”

The amount of discipline, strength, and determination that goes into such a passion (dancing) resonates with me. When given the opportunity to photograph a trained dancer it allows me to disappear into their movements and create images that reflect many hours of their hard work.

I’m so grateful that my cousin asked me to take pictures of her girls at a dance studio capturing their beauty and grace.  While I appreciate a classic portrait, I am a lifestyle photographer at heart and documenting movement, feeling and the essence of one’s being is my passion.  I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from our session!
