KAMI & PLACHER | THREE POINTS EVENT SPACE

KAMI & PLACHER | THREE POINTS EVENT SPACE

What a gorgeous day we had for Kami and Placher’s wedding!  We started on at the historic Raphael hotel on the plaza.  Kami chose to do a first reveal/look with her dad where she presented him with an embroidered handkerchief.  I just thought it was the sweetest sentiment and loved capturing that moment between them.

Kami and Placher chose Three Points event space for their ceremony and reception.  This venue had an amazing view of downtown.  It was a very special ceremony because Kami’s dad was the officiant and the couple presented a special ring and watch to their children.

After the ceremony we took some beautiful sunset pictures near the adjacent Kauffman Center for performing arts before partying the night away.  Kami and Placher hired a caricature artist and loved seeing all the drawings throughout the night!  It always warms my heart witnessing the bride and groom surrounded by so much love from their friends and family.

I’m so happy for you two and thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding day!

I have always been more interested in capturing everyday moments and genuine emotions of people and this is reflected in how I photograph my clients. I will always prefer laughter instead of a cheesy smile. I will always prefer to leave the disney band-aid on the scabbed knee instead of photoshopping it out. I will always prefer the image of you gazing at your dog as he wags his tail and kisses your face despite how 'fat' you feel. Time goes REALLY fast so choose to live in the moment and I would love to capture it for you!
