In 2008 Karie and Dane went to a home show to purchase windows and came across a Wayside Waifs booth that had animals up for adoption. Bierstadt was performing tricks for treats and a week later they did not have new windows but they did have a new dog! Karie says that he treats people the way we should all treat one another–with smiles, kisses, handshakes and high fives.
I couldn’t wait to this family and I instantly fell in love with Bierstadt but that isn’t hard to do because he is a big love bug! He was a natural in front of the camera and just full of life. We met at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art lawn for a dog’s day in the park. We had an amazingly gorgeous day for our spring sunset session.
