A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE MIDDLETON FAMILY

I was lucky enough to spend A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE MIDDLETOWN FAMILY recently!  I’ve photographed this adorable family for years now and it’s so rewarding watching the kids grow up.  When I walked into their new home it was moving to see so much of my work on the walls.  I know I say it often, but it is such a privilege to capture memories for you all!  My hope is to enjoy them in the moment but for years and years to come.  One of the many reasons I love A DAY IN THE LIFE SESSIONS is because it captures the essence of the family.. a moment in time.  Young kids are much more comfortable in their own environment when they aren’t asked to constantly look at the camera.  I want parents to look back through the album year after year and remember what life was truly like.

When I arrived at the Middleton’s beautiful home I was promptly greeted by Miss Sophie.  One of my favorite parts of the day was her welcoming me in her room and showing me all her favorite things.  I photographed Sophie when she was a newborn and watching her little personality grow is so special to me.  Another favorite part was getting to see Deacon!  This little guy is quite the fighter!  He was born prematurely and it is a miracle how far this guy has come!  He is so precious and his laugh is contagious.

Here are some of my favorite moments spent with the Middleton’s as they baked muffins, played games and went for a family walk together.  I loved watching this family laugh and enjoy quality time together!  Enjoy!

Get to know me!

I have always been more interested in capturing everyday moments and genuine emotions of people and this is reflected in how I photograph my clients. I will always prefer laughter instead of a cheesy smile. I will always prefer to leave the disney band-aid on the scabbed knee instead of photoshopping it out. I will always prefer the image of you gazing at your dog as he wags his tail and kisses your face despite how 'fat' you feel. Time goes REALLY fast so choose to live in the moment and I would love to capture it for you!
