FLOWERS BY EMILY | KANSAS CITY FLORIST

I have admired the floral arrangements in my salon (Xiphium) for a few months.  I was drawn to the colors, balance and quality of the floral arrangements.   At my last salon visit, I decided to snag a business card to check it out online and Flowers by Emily is the real deal!  I enjoy supporting good people and talented local businesses so wanted...

Sara + Adam | COUPLES SUNSET SESSION

Sara + Adam | COUPLES SUNSET SESSION Could Sara and Adam be any more adorable…what a dream to photograph!  Sara is a fellow photographer colleague of mine and I was thrilled (and nervous!)  to take their fall pictures!  They are just the cutest couple and have so much fun energy to be around. The sunset was STUNNING against the fall trees...

Brinley | Shawnee Mission Northwest

Meet Brinley!  She is a senior at Shawnee Mission Northwest. After getting her hair and makeup done by the amazing Mikayla Crane at Be Chic Bridal we headed off for her session in the West Bottoms!  Brinley was so easy to photograph despite the crazy wind we had the day of her session. Brinley has...

The Graham Family

The Graham Family Bethany messaged me a few months in advance to schedule a fall session.  She mentioned it was important that it the session take place at their home for sentimental value.  They live about an hour away from my house so I wasn’t sure what to expect having never been there.  As we got closer to...

The Klinge Family

The Klinge Family Words cannot even begin to express how much I love this family and session!  I have been fortunate to photograph them for a number of years and watch Tess grow up.  I adore the love between them and especially between Bella and Tess.  These two are such bonded siblings and it melts...

Get to know me!

I have always been more interested in capturing everyday moments and genuine emotions of people and this is reflected in how I photograph my clients. I will always prefer laughter instead of a cheesy smile. I will always prefer to leave the disney band-aid on the scabbed knee instead of photoshopping it out. I will always prefer the image of you gazing at your dog as he wags his tail and kisses your face despite how 'fat' you feel. Time goes REALLY fast so choose to live in the moment and I would love to capture it for you!
