    I am a natural light, on location, custom portrait photographer in Kansas City, MO. I have always enjoyed taking pictures but soon after I became an aunt I got my first 'real' camera. I found that capturing expressions and moments was so fulfilling. Little by little friends starting to ask me to take their pictures and my business keeps growing each year. I am so grateful to be a part of people's lives through images they will cherish for a lifetime. I continue to be excited and challenged every time I reach for my camera....my 'job' never gets old!

    I have a huge heart for animals, am addicted to diet coke, work too much, am a perfectionist, love shopping for repurposed/vintage stuff, I love the mountains, and I love to laugh!

You’ve asked for it and here it is…lots of updates to share with you all!

1.  Print & product credits have increased from $125 to $150!  The $150 print and product credit is applied to anything …a la carte prints, collections, or even digital files!  Several print sizes have decreased in price!

2.  NEW!  I have THREE print/product collections for you to choose from and there is something for everyone!  This is a GREAT way to save even more money!

3.  DIGITAL IMAGES PRICES HAVE DECREASED!  You can purchase a digital session for only $275 ($100 session fee + $175 digital images) and that includes everything!   Session images are downloaded on a USB drive and include both high resolution files for printing as well as web sized files for sharing on the internet.  All digital images include a print release to choose the lab of your choice (I recommend mpix.com)

4.  Referral program:  For every client that books with me YOU AND  YOUR CLIENT will earn an extra $25 towards your prints & products!

Sophie | One Year Old

I cannot believe it’s been a year since Sophie was born!!  Sophie’s mom is my dear friend and so when I stopped by for a visit we snapped a few shots of little sweetheart!  She went right into pose mode…can you tell both of her parents are models?!  I am so in love with this little cutie!!  Her curls, smiles, eyes, and personality light up a room!

Peyton | Two Years Old

I have photographed Peyton a number of times and she just keeps getting cuter!  I was a little worried for our session since her mother warned me that she may be difficult for the session.  I was so relieved that the session went great and we got some amazing shots which also show her fun personality.  Thank you Keri & Chuck and here are some of my favorites from our session….enjoy!

Steve & Kelly

Kelly and I met through our mutual love of animals.  Steve and Kelly have their hands full at any given time between their own dogs and fostering!  It is quite entertaining from the moment you walk into the house with all the dogs wanting your undivided attention…..and they aren’t all small dogs!  :-)  These love bugs have so much personality and my goal was to capture as much of it as possible.  I was constantly entertained by peaches perching on her favorite spot which resembled a gargoyle or Charlie sitting in his favorite spot which happened to be a mud hole.  I loved watching Cash lift his nose up to feel the wind on his face as his ears fall back with the breeze.  It is always a challenge to get all three dogs to look at the camera at once and this was no exception but the outtakes always make me laugh!  Thank you Steve and Kelly for inviting me into your home to capture your beautiful family…. these pampered pooches are so loved!

Jordan | Archbishop O’Hara High School Senior

Jordan is a senior at Archbishop O’Hara and will be graduating in just a few short weeks.  She will be headed to Missouri State this fall!

I had so much fun shooting this session!  Jordan is a natural in front of the camera and so much fun!  We started our session in the West Bottoms followed by Loose Park and the Kauffman Center for Performing Arts.  Thank you Jordan for choosing me to take your senior pictures and best of luck to you as you head off to college! ~ Kaye
